That would mean “reporting a colleague’s ideas as your own accomplishments in order to get promoted,” which is unethical—and the assumption that you can do it without anyone finding out is dangerous, so I won’t. Instead, I clearly credit my colleagues for their contributions and then focus on the results that are mine, such as driving the work, validating it, and implementing it.
