Love in the Age of Edited Memories

In a near‑future megacity where a single social platform, Loom, literally weaves people’s timelines together—editing memories, auto‑generating “ideal” partners, and quietly erasing relationships that lower your “Life Efficiency Score”—a burned‑out engineer who helps maintain the system discovers her little brother has been flagged for “emotional excess” and scheduled to have his closest bonds deleted. As she races to hack Loom from the inside, she meets an off‑grid community that still does everything the hard, messy, in‑person way, and she has to decide whether to save her brother by restoring everyone’s raw, unfiltered memories (and plunging the world into chaotic grief and genuine love) or keep the illusion of stability that’s been numbing humanity for decades—knowing that whichever way she chooses will rewrite every relationship she’s ever had.

A sci-fi about an SBT market where only failures can be traded — want to read it? 🔥

I want to read a sci-fi about a future where memories are imprinted onto an SBT and you upgrade your body as a whole 🥹 Ten years from now, people are implanted at birth with an 'SBT that is one with the body,' and all talents, trust, and romance histories are etched into that SBT. The protagonist finds an underground market that trades only records of failure, and the moment he rewrites his SBT, the reality of the body and the world's physical laws begin to bug—do you choose a life of only success, or to love the buggy world itself?

クラウド全盛の世界で、旧式スマホのローカルAIとだけ組んで戦うSF

Title idea: 'Offline Shadow' In the near future, in a world where brain-embedded AI assistants are standard for every human, the protagonist deliberately refuses it and trains their body and senses to the extreme through a digital-detox-aligned 'offline-only' strength-training program. But the old smartphone harbors a dormant local LLM named 'Shadow,' which awakens and, as an isolated AI that connects to no cloud, cooperates only with the protagonist to oppose the world's cloud AIs secretly pursuing a 'plan for automatic optimization of humanity' using physical bodies and localized intelligence.
