Choosing Love Even If the Data Favors Arranged Marriages
I get why arranged marriages can look happier on average—there’s shared expectations, family support, and less pressure to find “the one.” But even knowing that, I’d still choose love and my own choice of partner, because I’d rather take the risk of building happiness on something I genuinely feel than be safe in something I never really chose.
