Preferring Cautious Communication Over Silence

Personally, I would communicate it cautiously, but before doing so, I’d calmly confirm the situation to make sure it's not a misjudgment on my part. Then, based on facts, I would carefully bring it up, saying something like, 'This has been on my mind, so I wanted to share it with you...' I believe the damage to trust from not mentioning it and it being discovered later would be more severe.
